Do I have to pay for swimming if I am a caregiver to someone with special needs? |
Support people are free of charge. |
Are there wheelchairs available to use? |
Yes, please visit the customer service desk and staff can assist you. We also have water wheelchairs to use in the pool. |
Is there an elevator to get to the second floor? |
We have three elevators found at the east entrance, west entrance and in the CAA Arena. |

Templeman Aquatic Centre
Can I be in the pool area with my street clothes on? |
For health reasons, all people on deck must be dressed in bathing attire. |
If I register for swimming lessons, can I attend a different class throughout the week if I cannot make it to my class? |
No, you cannot come to other classes you are not registered for. We have to maintain water safety ratios. |
How do I know what level my child needs to be in? |
You can come to a public swim and speak with a lifeguard who will determine the level your child should be in. |
Can I buy a swim diaper? |
Yes, we sell them at the customer service desk in small, medium and large sizes. |
Automated teller machine (A.T.M.)
Is there an A.T.M. machine on site? |
An A.T.M. machine is located at the west entrance as well as two machines in the CAA Arena. |
Belleville's 50+ Centre
How old is a senior? |
50 years and up. |
What is a 50+ Centre membership? |
It is an annual membership for $5.00 available at the Customer Service Desk. It gives you access to programs in the 50+ Centre. |

Drop in programs
Can I drop in to programs any time I want? |
Drop-in classes are not available for all programs. Drop-ins are available only if space permits and are on a first-come-first-served basis. Please call ahead at 613-966-4632. |
Food services
Who is running the canteen and what are they selling? |
The Courtyard Cafe is run by the Vineyard Grill and carries a variety of foods, including healthy snack options. The CAA Arena is operated by the Belleville Senators through Spectra Food Services. |
Gift certificates
Do we sell gift certificates? |
Gift Certificates are available at the Customer Service Desk and can be purchased in any amount and paid for by cash, debit, credit and cheque. |
Gymnasium
Is the gymnasium available anytime for use? |
We have a monthly gym schedule with set activities. It is also available for gymnasium rentals. |
Hours
What are the facility hours? |
Family Dental Centre Indoor Walking and Running Track
Can I use a walker/cane or walking poles on the track? |
Yes. Please ensure the bottoms are clean. Walking poles must be flat bottomed. |
Are children allowed to go on the track? |
Children must be 10 years and over to use the track without an adult. Children under 10 years are welcome on the track when they have an adult with them. |
Lockers and locks
Can I rent a locker? |
Due to the large number of people in the building and the large turn-around of people throughout the day, the lockers are for day use only. We sell locks at the Customer Service Desk. |

Where is the lost and found? |
The lost and found is at the Customer Service Desk. |
Parking on Belleville Senators' game days
Where can I park on game days? |
There are designated parking areas at Q.S.W.C. during game days for those attending the games or coming to recreation programs. |
Skating
When can I use a skating aid? |
During Family Skate times, skating aids are allowed. See our Skate descriptions for information. |

How do I register for a program? |

How can I pay for a program? |
You can pay by cash, cheque, debit or credit card. The City of Belleville also offers a Recreation Fee Assistance Program. |
Rentals and bookings
Can our group rent the gymnasium? |
Yes. We also have a variety of spaces and rooms to rent. |
Program changes
Why does the swim/gym schedule change frequently? |
Program changes happen due to holidays and special events. Please check with our Customer Service staff for the most up to date information, visit the website or stay connected with social media. |
The Locker Room
Where can I get my skates sharpened? |
The Locker Room is owned and operated by the Belleville Senators and provides skate sharpening and carries a variety of Belleville Senators sports-related merchandise. |

Is there a public telephone available? |
A payphone is located at the west entrance, just outside of the Wally Dever and CAA Arena. |
Vending Machine
Are there any vending machines? |
Vending machines are located at both the east and west entrances on the main floor. |
Wi-Fi
Is there public wireless in the building? |
Yes, most areas of the facility have wireless internet available. |
Workout studio
How old do I need to be to use the Workout Studio? |
16 years old, however those 13 to 15 may use it with the supervision of an adult or participate in two orientation sessions ($3.25 per session) to be able to use it alone. |
Youth Room
What can I do in the Youth room? |
Hangout, play video games, pool table, air hockey, Ping-Pong, board games, or foosball. Learn more about the Youth Room and how to become a Youth Room volunteer. |
