On Monday, February 8, 2021, the province announced the return to the COVID-19 response framework.

As of February 10 at 12:01 a.m., the Hastings, Prince Edward Public Health region will return to the COVID-19 response framework and will be in the Green zone. As of February 16, 2021, the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre will reopen. What this means is:

  • Ice and the Belleville Beast Swim Team will be back on February 16
  • Recreational swims, aquafit, pickleball, table tennis and advanced aquatic courses will start the week of February 22(registration starts February 16).
  • All fitness classes will be virtual for Winter B session (Feb 22 to March 27). Registration for city taxpayers: February 8, 2021 and non-city taxpayers, February 11, 2021.

COVID-19 protocols and facility entrance restrictions remain in place.
