It's hard to believe that it is December already. We have a number of exciting updates to share with you.

Holiday Special Activity Schedule

Our special holiday schedule begins December 17th and runs through to January 5th. The Holiday Schedule is available online or at the customer service desk. Registration is underway now. Pre-registration is required. Avoid disappointment and please don't wait to register just before the activity. The holidays are very busy and many programs fill quickly.

Winter Activity Guide and Program Registration

The Winter Activity Guide is now available.

Winter Land program registration (land based activities including skating lessons, not including aquatic programs)

  • December 9 at 8:30 a.m. for City Residents/Taxpayers
  • December 12 at 8:30 a.m. for Non-City Residents/Taxpayers

Winter Aquatic program registration (swimming lessons, advanced aquatics programs)

  • December 16 at 8:30 a.m. for City Residents/Taxpayers
  • December 19 at 8:30 a.m. for Non-City Residents/Taxpayers

Notice of Planned Service Disruption - Family/Accessible Change room Accessible Shower #1 - December 5

The accessibility shower #1 in the Family/Accessible Change Room will be closed for the entire day on Thursday, December 5th due to maintenance. The accessible lift will continue to be available and the accessible shower stall in the shower area will still be available during this time. Thank you for your patience as we complete necessary repairs.

Program, Pool and Customer Service Desk Closure for December 18

Please note that on December 18th after 9:00 a.m. there will be no regular recreation programs, recreational swimming or aquafit and the customer service desk will be closed. Regular ice and the track will be available as per the regular schedule. Staff will be engaged in development activities during this time. Clients are encouraged to register online.

Rates and Fees By-law

Please note that the Rates and Fees By-law is expected to go to Council on December 9 for final approval of the 2025 rates and fees. The rates proposed are in line with what was approved at Council on September 23, 2024 as part of the User Fees Study. We will link the by-law to the QSWC website and circulate the information to user groups once approved.

Hours of Operation and Program Cancellations/Changes

As the holidays approach, we have varying hours of operation. We have also added a new section to this part of the website listing all program changes/cancellation. Visit our hours of operation webpage. If you are unsure whether a program is running or not, you can check your own schedule online through your Xplor Recreation login or can refer to the website for this information. Stars on Ice Holiday Tour

Belleville is fortunate to be host to this amazing Holiday Tour. The Belleville Senators are excited that the Stars on Ice – Holiday Tour is almost here and wanted to make sure that everyone knows that there is still time to get your tickets for this fantastic family event!

On Sunday, December 8 at 4:00 this holiday tour will bring fantastic performers including Elvis Stojko, Kaetlyn Osmond, Keegan Messing and many more world accomplished figure skaters as a part of the experience. If you are interested in tickets you can visit Ticketmaster and make sure you don’t miss it!  If you have any questions please email info@bellevillesens.com for assistance.
